RALEIGH – The NC State men's soccer team returns home Friday afternoon to host LIU Brooklyn. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. from Dail Soccer Stadium with live video coverage provided by ACC Network Extra.

Parking will be free to fans in the Reynolds Coliseum Deck beginning at 3 p.m. Umbrellas are not allowed inside Dail Soccer Stadium.

FRIDAY PROMOTIONS
College Colors Day. Fans are encouraged to wear RED to the match.
Dollar Hot Dog Day.
Giveaways: 200 red tee-shirts and red pom poms while supplies last.
Postmatch autographs with select NC State players.
Doubleheader: NC State women's soccer hosts Princeton at 8 p.m.

LAST MATCH
NC State fought back from a two-goal deficit at William and Mary on Monday evening to force overtime, but ultimately fell 3-2 in its first road match of the 2017 season.

Clayton Sparks brought the Wolfpack within one goal when he scored in the 75th minute on an assist from Ade Taiwo and freshman Manny Perez scored his second goal of the young season just four minutes later to level the match at 2-2, also on an assist from Taiwo.

Taiwo made an immediate impact on the match, entering as a substitute in the 72nd minute and dishing out two assists in his first seven minutes on the field.

NEXT THREE AT HOME
Following the match at William & Mary, NC State will play its next three contests at home. The Wolfpack will host LIU Brooklyn (Sept. 1), No. 5/6 Clemson (Sept. 8), and Longwood (Sept. 12) at Dail Soccer Stadium in Raleigh.

EARLY SUCCESS
Freshman forward Manny Perez has started his college career in impressive fashion, scoring two goals, including one match winner, in two matches. He currently ranks third in the ACC in total goals and 17th nationally.

Through the first two contests of the season, NC State ranks 24th nationally with 2.50 goals scored per match.

SCOUTING THE BLACKBIRDS
-LIU Brooklyn enters Friday's match the owner of an 0-2-0 record.
-The Blackbirds are in the midst of a four-match road swing to open the season.
-LIU Brooklyn returns eight starters from last year's team and was selected to finish third in the NEC this season. In 2016, the program posted a 10-6-2 record and finished the year with five of the conference's top six scorers.
