
Women’s Soccer Moves Up In Latest National Rankings

RALEIGH – After a shutout win over Coastal Carolina last Thursday the NC State women's soccer team moved up in the latest national rankings, jumping five spots to No. 20 on this week's United Soccer Coaches Poll and and breaking into Soccer America's at No. 25.
Ricci Walkling, Kia Rankin and Tziarra King each contributed goals in the team's victory over the Chanticleers, as King, Hannah Keogh and Naomi Powell recorded assists.
The Pack is one of eight ACC schools ranked or receiving votes in both polls.
NC State will continue its nonconference slate this weekend when it hosts Princeton Friday at 8 p.m. and travels to Elon Sunday for a 7 p.m. matchup. Friday's contest will be broadcast on the ACC Network Extra.
