RALEIGH, N.C. – The 20^th-ranked NC State baseball team will open Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) play at Wake Forest this weekend. Due to impending weather approaching the Winston-Salem area, the weekend schedule has been altered to a single-game Friday and a doubleheader Saturday.

Friday's contest is set for 6 p.m., while the first game of Saturday's doubleheader is slated for 1 p.m. with the second game to follow. All three games of the series will be broadcast live on the ACC Network Extra, as well as radio coverage on WKNC 88.1 FM and on GoPack.com for premium subscribers.

NC State heads into conference play with a 7-6 overall record and Wake Forest owns a 10-4 mark at the start of league action.

Last Time Out
In its most recent outing, the Wolfpack picked up an 8-5 road win at UNCW, while Wake Forest defeated No. 18 Coastal Carolina in Conway, S.C., 13-8.

NC State leads the all-time series with Wake Forest, 117-58, as Friday's contest will be the 176^th meeting between the programs. The Wolfpack has won six straight games in the series with the Demon Deacons last win in the 2015 series finale.

The Wolfpack last traveled to Wake Forest in May 2015 when the squad swept the series in Winston-Salem. NC State won the opener, 19-1, game two 3-2 and completed the sweep with a 9-6 victory.
