Wolfpack Collects 13 All-EAGL Honors

BALTIMORE – The NC State gymnastics team had six gymnasts combine for 13 All-EAGL honors, as announced by the conference office on Monday.
The 13 honors are the most since the 2014 squad combined to earn 14 honors.
NC State All-EAGL Honorees:
Chelsea Knight, First Team All-EAGL (Vault, Bars, All-Around) Second Team All-EAGL (Beam)
Paris Phillips First Team All-EAGL (Floor) Second Team All-EAGL (All-Around, Vault)
Amanda Fillard First Team All-EAGL (Bars)
Melissa Brooker First Team All-EAGL (Bars)
Drew Grantham Second Team All-EAGL (Floor, All-Around)
Alexa Phillips Second Team All-EAGL (Floor, Vault)
Chelsea Knight led the team with four honors, earning first-team honors on vault (9.820), bars (9.860) and all-around (39.140). She also added second-team honors on beam (9.805).
Paris Phillips earned three honors, making first team on floor (9.840) and second team on vault (9.800) and all-around (38.805).
Drew Grantham and Alexa Phillips each added a pair of second-team honors. Grantham made the team on floor (9.815) and all-around (38.510), and Alexa Phillips was honored on vault (9.790) and floor (9.820).
Amanda Fillard and Melissa Brooker each garnered first team honors on bars with a RQS of 9.855 and 9.840, in respective order.
First Team All-EAGL on each event and in all-around includes the top-eight ranked gymnasts (including ties) from the 10-week regular season. Second Team All-EAGL on each event and in all-around includes No. 9 - No. 16 ranked gymnasts (including ties) from the regular season. All rankings are based the gymnasts' RQS (Regional Qualifying Score).
