RALEIGH – The No. 19/19 NC State women's basketball team (16-6, 6-3 ACC) continues its three-game road trip Thursday evening at No. 9/7 Louisville (20-4, 7-2 ACC). Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. from the KFC Yum Center with live coverage provided by ACC Network Extra.

The then-No. 18/18 NC State women's basketball team's three-game ACC winning streak came to an end Sunday afternoon at UNC-Chapel Hill, as the Wolfpack endured an 83-70 defeat at Carmichael Arena.

Despite starters Jennifer Mathurin (13 points, 10 rebounds) and Chelsea Nelson (11 points, 10 rebounds) recording double-doubles, the Wolfpack was beaten by a school-record tying UNC-CH performance from beyond the arc, in which the Tar Heels shot 14-24 (.583) from distance. NC State cut into the UNC-CH lead on multiple occasions in the second half, but the Wolfpack was unable to overcome the Tar Heels' 9-13 (.692) success rate from distance during the game's final 20 minutes.

NOTING THE WOLFPACK
-NC State enters Thursday's game the owner of a 16-6 record, a 6-3 mark in ACC play, and the No. 19 national ranking in both the AP and USA Today polls.

NC State and No. 1/1 UConn have something in common this season: the Wolfpack and Huskies are the only teams to beat Florida State and both Notre Dame and Florida State.

SHE'S THE ONLY ONE
Miah Spencer (1,410 points and 451 assists) is the first player in the 42.5 season history of the NC State women's basketball program to score 1,400 points and dish out 450 assists in a career. She currently ranks 18th in scoring and fifth in assists.

On January 30, Spencer and Williams were chosen to participate in the 2017 WBCA "So You Want to be a Coach" seminar at the annual convention March 29-31 in Dallas. The Wolfpack duo was among just 61 student-athletes selected nationwide for the opportunity.

SCOUTING THE CARDINALS
-Louisville enters Thursday's game the owner of a 20-4 record, a 7-2 mark in ACC play, and the No. 9 (AP) and No. 7 (USA Today) national rankings.
-The Cardinals are 10-4 against teams in the RPI top 100.
