
Men's Swimming and Diving Tops CSCAA Rankings

RALEIGH- The NC State men's swimming and diving program has returned to the top of the latest College Swimming Coaches of America (CSCAA) ranking after two dominating performances last weekend, released Wednesday afternoon.
After previously sitting at No. 3, the men's team surged to the top of the ranking following two comfortable wins over North Carolina and No. 12 Virginia. This marks the third time this season that the Wolfpack has topped the poll.
The women's team also jumped two spots, moving from ninth to seventh. The program now leads the ACC in the national poll, moving ahead of No. 8 Virginia.

Oct. 26 – Men: No. 3, Women: No. 4
Nov. 9 – Men: No. 1, Women: No. 6
Nov. 26 – Men: No. 1, Women: No. 6

Both the men's and women's teams have remained among the top 10 of the national polls for the entire duration of the 2016-17 season, doing so for the first time in program history.
Two from the Wolfpack were also awarded weekly ACC honors following impressive performances during the ACC dual weekend, as Ryan Held was named Co-ACC Swimmer of the Week and Ky-Lee Perry earned ACC Swimmer of the Week. In addition, Held won College Swimming's National Swimmer of the Week while Perry was named Conference Swimmer of the Week.
NC State will return to action when select members of the team travel to Chapel Hill, N.C., for the Carolina College Nike Invitational, hosted by UNC-CH Feb. 3-5.
