RALEIGH – The NC State women's soccer team (8-4-1, 1-3-1 ACC) will conclude its four-match road swing Sunday afternoon when it travels to Pittsburgh (3-7-3, 0-4-1 ACC). Kickoff is 12 p.m. at Ambrose Urbanic Field and the match will be broadcast on the ACC Network Extra.
LAST TIME OUT
NC State faced its third straight top 25 conference opponent on Thursday evening when it traveled to No. 4 Duke, and dropped a 2-0 result at Koskinen Stadium.
SERIES HISTORY
NC State and Pitt have met five times in program history, as the Pack leads 3-2 in the all-time series. Last season NC State earned a 2-1 win in overtime against the Panthers to clinch a spot in the ACC Championship for the first time since 2006.
A win Sunday would mark the team's ninth of the season and second over an ACC opponent.
