Gymnastics Releases 2018 Competition Schedule

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State gymnastics team has released its 2018 competition schedule, as announced by head coach Kim Landrus.

The Wolfpack will host six meets inside Reynolds Coliseum including the NCAA Regional Championships. Along with the Regional Championships, NC State hosts several teams that saw postseason action including LSU (2017 SEC Champions, National Runners-Up), Michigan (2017 B1G Champions, NCAA Championship qualifiers), UNC-Chapel Hill (fifth place at the 2017 NCAA Gainesville Regional Championship), and New Hampshire (2017 NCAA Gainesville Regional Championship qualifier).

Landrus is eager for her inaugural campaign with the Wolfpack to get underway.

"The 2018 season features an amazing group of teams in Reynolds Coliseum," she explained. "Our fans will get the opportunity to see great gymnastics as top programs from around the country will travel to Raleigh. We are excited to welcome Michigan and LSU, who were both top-ten finishers in 2017. Additionally, conference foes UNC-Chapel Hill and New Hampshire add to the excitement."

With six opportunities to see the Wolfpack in action, fans won't want to miss a meet. The home opener on January 20 is a tri-meet with William & Mary and Ball State. From there, the schedule keeps building and culminates with NC State hosting NCAA Regionals, only one of six teams to do so.
