RALEIGH – Currently on an unbeaten streak of four matches, the NC State men's soccer team (6-4-3) returns to action at home on Tuesday evening when UNCW comes to Raleigh. Kickoff between the Wolfpack and Seahawks is scheduled for 7 p.m. from Dail Soccer Stadium with live video coverage provided by ACC Network Extra.

LAST MATCH
NC State picked up its third quality Atlantic Coast Conference result of the season Friday evening at Dail Soccer Stadium by earning a 0-0 draw with visiting No. 10/6 Virginia.

Friday's match was NC State's annual Alumni Night, with a few dozen former players coming back to campus for a pregame tailgate and halftime recognition.

The Wolfpack played a very even match against the Cavaliers, generating just one fewer shot (9-10) and earning the same number of corners (4-4). NC State's defense proved strong throughout the contest, absorbing Virginia's pressure without yielding too many quality scoring chances. Freshman goalÂkeeper Leon Krapf made four saves throughout the course of the match.

In eight home matches this season, NC State is 5-1-2 and has outscored its opponents 12-6. Of the four remaining regular-season matches on the schedule, three will be played at Dail Soccer Stadium in Raleigh.

NATIONAL TEAM OF THE WEEK
Junior defender Simon Blotko was named to the College Soccer News NCAA Team of the Week for the week ending October 8. The Wolfpack's starting right back provided two assists and helped lead a strong defensive effort in wins over Belmont (3-0) and at Syracuse (2-1).

NC State currently sits 65th in the Oct. 16 RPI update. During its final four matches of the regular season, NC State will play UNCW (44), Louisville (9), South Carolina (118), and Boston College (58).

ACC TOURNAMENT APPROACHES
If the regular season ended today, NC State would be the No. 8 seed in the ACC Tournament and would host No. 9 seed Pittsburgh/Virginia Tech in Raleigh on Wednesday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. Seeds 5-8 at the end of the regular season will host first-round tournament matches at this date and time.

NC State has not allowed a goal in 258 minutes of game action. The last time the Wolfpack conceded a goal was during the 52nd minute of a 2-1 win at ACC foe Syracuse on Oct. 6.
