From The Coach's Perspective
"I thought we looked better today than we have so far this year, and I think the point of the early part of the season is to get the kinks out and figure out the lineups for the season," said head coach Mark Stevenson." You make those changes as you go through the season and look to get better over the year. Vault was really strong, and we had nice routines on bars but counted a fall, which was the first we've had to count all year on that event. On beam we made some mental errors and got nervous on the easy skills, but I loved floor and was really proud of of the way we performed despite only having five girls in the lineup. Paris had a phenomenal routine, that was the second one in a row. Overall I'm happy with the meet, it's always tough losing by one-tenth of a point but have a lot more chances to win."
