NC State Wins Nine on Day One of Wolfpack Invitational

Raleigh, N.C. - The NC State women's tennis team kicked off the Wolfpack Invitational with nine wins on day one of competition, which was held at Dail Stadium on Friday. The Wolfpack took on both Princeton and Ole Miss in doubles play, and finished the evening in singles matches against Oklahoma.
Day One Highlights:
-Tayla Stenta, Amanda Rebol, Bianca Moldovan and No. 29 Martina Frantova saw their first action this season.
-Amanda Rebol was undeafeted in day one of competition, winning two singles matches and two doubles matches.
-Wikorin/Moldovan got the day's first win as they defeated Steffensen/Pollner (Princeton) 7-5.
-No. 24 doubles tandem of Martina Frantova and Tayla Stenta got their first win of the fall beating Zalina Khairudinova/Tea Jandric (Ole Miss) 6-1.
-In total, NC State won 5/8 singles matches and 4/7 doubles matches.
