TEMPE, Ariz. - Two doubles teams and one individual have earned rankings on the 2016 Oracle/ITA Collegiate Tennis Women's Division I Preseason Rankings.Â
Martina Frantova, Tayla Stenta, Bianca Moldovan and Claudia Wiktorin represent the most NC State players to appear on the rankings in program history.Â
Coming off an impressive spring season last year, Martina Frantova checks in at the 28th position nationally for singles competition. This moves Frantova up the list from her 45th place finish last season after qualifying for the NCAA Singles Championship in May.
On the doubles side, Frantova is ranked once again, alongside her partner, Tayla Stenta. Among all NCAA Division I doubles teams, the pair earned the 24th rank. Last year, Frantova and Stenta finished 48th on ITA's final rankings.
Bianca Moldova and Claudia Wiktorin finish out the Wolfpack's ranked players, landing in the 50th spot for doubles competition.Â
The Wolfpack women will head to their first competition this weekend at the Duke Bonk Invitational on Sept. 16-18.
