RALEIGH – Sitting 27th in the first NSCAA poll of the regular season, the NC State men's soccer team (1-1-0) takes a short trip to rival No. 3 UNC-Chapel Hill (2-0-0) Friday evening for a 7:30 p.m. match at Fetzer Field. The contest will be broadcast live on the ACC Network Extra.

NC State and UNC-CH were not scheduled to play one another in official Atlantic Coast Conference action this season, so Friday's match is a non-conference affair.

Beginning with Friday's match at No. 3 UNC-CH, 12 of NC State's 17 regular season matches will be broadcast live on the ACC Network Extra.

HOME STAND APPROACHING
NC State follows its trip to No. 3 UNC-CH with a three-match home stand featuring North Florida (Sept. 5), No. 6 Syracuse (Sept. 9), and Elon (Sept. 13).

-UNC-Chapel Hill enters Friday's match the owner of a 2-0-0 record in 2016, having defeated Cal Poly and St. Louis by matching 3-0 scorelines.

THREE FROM THE SPOT
NC State earned three penalties in its win at James Madison on Aug. 28. Stephen Elias, Francesco Casucci, and Ade Taiwo all earned fouls inside the penalty area to set the Pack up with strong scoring opportunities.

CAREER DEBUTS
Seven Wolfpack players made their collegiate career debuts at the season-opening JMU Invitational: Jan-Luca Ahillen, Jake Dykes, Stephen Elias, Tyler Gabarra, Maximilian Luftl, Bryant Nardizzi, and Aidan Wixted.
