Wolfpack to Face Richmond in Exhibition Test

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State women's soccer team will travel to Richmond for a Friday night exhibition. The contest marks the first match of the year for both teams and will kick off at 5 p.m. at River Road Field.
The two schools have never played a regular-season match against each other, but played to a 0-0 draw this spring in Raleigh.

Youth Movement:
The Pack's roster consists of 16 freshman and sophomores, including 11 freshmen. The young but talented group will play an important roll for the Pack this season. Learn more about the team's impressive recruiting class of 2016 here.
Experienced Returnees:
NC State returns six of its top-eight point scorers from the 2015 season, including leading scorer Jackie Stengel. Additionally, five of the team's returners saw action in all 19 of the Wolfpack's 2015 matches.
Season Opener:
The Pack opens the regular season Friday, Aug. 19th at 5 p.m. against La Salle at the Wake Forest Tournament. NC State will also play San Diego two days later in the same tournament.
Tickets on Sale:
Single game tickets as well as season tickets are still on sale for the 2016 season, which features eight home matches. Three teams ranked in the top-25 preseason poll will visit Raleigh - No. 1 Florida State, No. 3 Duke, No. 13 Notre Dame.
