
Addison, Bartolomeo, Kemp, Rudawsky Named USTFCCCA All-Academic

NEW ORLEANS – Four from the NC State track and field team were named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team, as announced by the organization.
Jonathan Addison highlights the Wolfpack members with his third career award, while Erika Kemp makes the team for the second time. Rachel Bartolomeo and Alyssa Rudawsky are first-time selections.
Addison concluded his career as a five time first-team All-American, an Academic All-American, and a 14x All-ACC Selection. The Raleigh, N.C., native was also named the ACC Scholar Athlete of the Year twice during his career and received the ACC Postgraduate Scholarship.
Kemp had an impressive indoor track campaign, earning her a pair of All-America honors, and setting the school record in the indoor 5,000m. Kemp is a five-time All-ACC Academic selection.
Rudawsky and Bartoloemo both advanced to the NCAA East Preliminary for the first time in their careers to qualify for the award. Rudawsky also picked up All-ACC and All-ACC Academic honors for the first time in her career during the 2016 outdoor season.
To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track & Field Team, the student athlete must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.25 and have met at least one of the following athletic standards:
For the indoor season, a student-athlete must have finished the regular season ranked in the national top 96 in an individual event or ranked in the national top 48 (collective listing) in a relay event on the official NCAA POP list provided by TFRRS.org.
For the outdoor season, a student-athlete must have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Championships (including preliminary rounds).
