
Ko Advances To Pacific Northwest Am Finals, Taylor Finishes In Top 30 At European Ladies Am

RALEIGH- Members of the NC State women's golf program have continued to showcase their talents around the world in summer tournament play, as Leonie Bettel, Naomi Ko and Rachael Taylor each continued to prepare for the team's NCAA season last week.
European Ladies Amateur Championship
Recent graduate Taylor wrapped up play on Saturday with a top-30 finish at the 2016 European Ladies Amateur Championship at Hooks GC in Sweden.
She finished 30th in the final standings with a four-day total of 290 ( 2), as her showing was highlighted by a 69 on the second day of play to propel her towards the top of the leaderboard. She shot a 71 on day three to make the cut and advance to the final day.
Rising sophomore Bettel also played in the tournament. Despite strong scores throughout the week, she missed the 54-hole cut and finished with a score of 230. The top 60 after three rounds of stroke play advanced to the final round.

Pacific Northwest Women's Amateur Championship
Ko continued her strong streak of summer play last week at the Pacific Northwest Women's Amateur Championship at Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum, Wash.
She took medalist honors in the stroke play portion after carding rounds of 76 and 74 for a total of 150 ( 6), and managed to advance to the championship final in match play.
