Perry Makes Podium at NACACs u23 Championships

SAN SALVADOR, EL SALVADOR – Alexis Perry finished third in the 100m hurdles finals with a time of 13.12 to finish third and earn a spot on the podium for Team USA. It is her second time representing Team USA and her second time finishing on the podium at an international meet.
Perry advanced to the finals after finishing second in her heat and fourth overall with a time of 13.18 to advance.
In the finals, the Durham, N.C., native finished as the top American and won the bronze medal.
In her previous international experience, Perry won the 100m hurdles race at the 2013 Pan Am Junior Athletics Championships.
She will be back in action tomorrow, competing in the long jump.
