Addison, Perry Set for NACAC u23 Championships

RALEIGH, N.C. - Jonathan Addison and Alexis Perry are slated to represent Team USA at the NACAC u23 Championships in El Salvador over the weekend. Both will compete in the long jump. Additionally, NC State assistant track and field coach Tamara Ards is serving as the event manager for Team USA.

Addison will kick things off for the Pack, jumping Friday in the men's long jump. The Raleigh, N.C., native enters the meet as the top seed with a PR of 26'9.75". He is also the only athlete out of 16 entries to have jumped at least eight meters in qualifying for the meet.

Addison recently took fifth at the NCAA Championships and 15th at the USATF Olympic Trials.

On Sunday, Perry will compete in the women's long jump. The Durham, N.C., native is seeded fourth with a PR of 21'6.75". She recently finished fourth at NCAAs and 13th in the event at the USATF Olympic Trials.

Perry also competed in the 100m hurdles at both post-season meets, finishing fifth in the NCAA finals and 15th at the USATF semifinals.
