
Bae, Overbey Post Top-20 Finishes At Women’s Eastern Amateur

BLUFFTON, S.C.- Sarah Bae and Cecily Overbey of the NC State women's golf team posted top-20 finishes at the 2016 Eastern Women's Amateur Championship on Thursday, as Bae finished in a tie for fourth place and Overbey tied for 19th of a 61-player field.
Held at Pinecrest Golf Club in Bluffton, S.C., Bae carded a three-day total of 215 (-1), which included an opening round of 68. Overbey finished her showing with a 228 ( 12) after firing a final-round score of 69 to rise 26 spots on the leader board.
