Wolfpack to Compete at 2016 Paradise Jam

RALEIGH – The NC State women's basketball team will be spending the 2016 Thanksgiving holiday on the island of Saint Thomas in the United States Virgin Islands. While in the beautiful Caribbean, the Wolfpack will compete at the 2016 Basketball Travelers' Paradise Jam.

Playing in the Island Division of the 2016 tournament, NC State will take on Kansas State, UTEP, and LSU from November 24-26. Both Kansas State (NCAA Round of 32) and UTEP (WNIT Elite Eight) were postseason teams last year.

Including the May 25 announcement of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge game against Indiana (December 1 in Raleigh), three of NC State's four announced 2016-17 season games feature postseason opponents.

Looking ahead to the 2016-17 season, the Wolfpack returns its top five scorers, welcomes three top-90 recruits into the program, and reopens Reynolds Coliseum following a $35 million renovation.
