NC State Men’s Golf Earns NCAA Regional Bid

INDIANAPOLIS – For the eighth time in the last nine seasons, the NC State men's golf team is heading to the NCAA Regionals. As announced on the Golf Channel's Morning Drive Thursday morning, the Wolfpack will be heading to the Championship Course in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to compete in the 2016 NCAA Regionals from May 16-18.
Following the conclusion of the NCAA Regionals, 30 teams (top five from each of the six sites) will advance to the 2016 NCAA Golf Championship (May 27 – June 1) in Eugene, Oregon.
Led by a runner-up result from junior Jacob McBride, the Wolfpack finished seventh at the 2016 ACC Championship. NC State finished a very strong 2015-16 season with a combined record of 120-45-3 and finished within the top three of a tournament field on six of 12 occasions.
