2016 Recap: Women's Tennis

NC State women's tennis (15-12, 6-8 ACC) etched its name in the record books in 2016 with an historical season. The young Wolfpack showcased its potential with dramatic improvements in play and record-setting accomplishments. Upon finishing the regular season with the winningest conference record in program history, the team garnered an at-large selection to the NCAA Championship competing as the 35th-ranked Division I team in the nation.

No. 45 Martina Frantova became the fourth player in program history to earn a bid to the NCAA Singles Championship. The official bracket will be announced Monday by the NCAA. Frantova is set to begin competition May 25 in Tulsa, Okla.
