
Davis Concludes Penn Relays for Pack

PHILADELPHIAÂ - Joshua Davis finished sixth in the Penn Relays men's college hammer throw championships with a near personal best throw of 207'3". Davis was the lone athlete competing for NC State on the final day of the three-day meet.

The elite field featured five athletes currently ranked top-30 in the hammer throw in the national lists. Davis' mark beat out current No. 23 and was just five inches shy of a PR. He is currently 42nd in the nation, 31st in the East and fifth in the ACC.

NC State finished the meet with four top-10 finishes. In addition to Davis, Nicole Chavis took third in the women's discus championships, Alyssa Rudawsky finished third in the women's 3,000m, and Rachel Bartolomeo added a sixth-place finish in the women's steeplechase.
