
Addison Named ACC Performer of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Jonathan Addison has been named the ACC Men's Field Performer of the Week, as announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon. Addison recently won the long jump, took third in the 4x100 relay and earned a fourth-place finish in the 100m dash during his season opener at the Raleigh Relays.
Addison opened the home meet with a win in the long jump. The senior jumped 25'8.75 on his third attempt and passed on his final three attempts to take the victory. The mark currently ranks fourth in national standings and was the best long jump mark of the weekend.

The Raleigh, N.C. native added a nice opener in the 100m dash. He advanced to the 100m dash finals with a wind-aided 10.47. In the finals, he finished 4th overall in 10.58. His mark of 10.47 is ranked 30th in the NCAA. Addison also ran a leg of the 4x100 team, logging a time of 40.38.

The senior will continue his outdoor season this weekend in Gainesville, Fla., with the Florida Relays.
