NC State Lands 11 On All-EAGL Scholastic Team

Courtney Turner earned her fourth mention in as many years
BALTIMORE- Eleven NC State gymnasts have been named to the All-EAGL Scholastic Team for the 2015 calendar year, as announced by the league office this weekend.
The Pack had three seniors, two juniors, four sophomores and two freshmen earn the honor.Â
In order to be honored as a Scholastic Team member, a gymnast must be active on her school's roster as of January 1, and have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above after the 2015 calendar year GPA is factored in. Freshmen are eligible with Fall 2015 semester grades only.

For Turner, this marks her fourth time in as many years that she has earned the honor, while Hine, Sobhan and Woodford all collected the second honor of their careers. Including freshmen Fillard and Tamburro, this is the first mention for Circeo, Itcush, Leighton, Murphy and Wild.
NC State will compete next at the 2016 EAGL Championship, which is set to be held March 19 at 2 p.m. inside Fitzgerald Field House as Pittsbugh will play host.
