MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The NC State men's golf team turned in a very strong showing during the first day of the 2016 General Jim Hackler Championship on Saturday. Through nearly two full rounds of play at The Dunes Golf and Beach Club, NC State sits third of 15 teams. A small portion of Saturday's second round was postponed due to darkness and will be completed before Sunday's final round begins at 8:30 a.m. Â

NC State's Stanhope Johnson and Carter Page are two of six golfers who will need to complete the second round Sunday morning. As a team, the Wolfpack shot 285 (-3) during the first round and is currently five under par in the incomplete second round.
