Wolfpack sophomore fires a 581 in smallbore
AKRON, Ohio – NC State sophomore Caitlyn Ford turned in a top-10 performance at the NCAA Rifle Championships Friday inside the Stile Field House. She posted a score of 581 in the smallbore discipline to finish 10th.

Ford charted scores of 96 and 97 from the kneeling position, 97 and 99 from the prone position and 93 and 99 while standing to compile her score of 581 in the event.

The Fairfax Station, Va., native was selected to compete in the air rifle and smallbore disciplines at the NCAA Championships. The air rifle competition will take place Saturday, as teammate Lucas Kozeniesky will also compete in the event.
