No. 12 Rifle Fires Season High in GARC Loss to No. 4 Kentucky

Wolfpack records season high 2306 smallbore team score
FAIRBANKS, Alaska – Despite firing a season-high team score of 2306 in the smallbore competition, the 12th-ranked NC State rifle team was edged by No. 4 Kentucky, 4688-4658, Friday afternoon inside the E.F. Horton Rifle Range.

The Wolfpack falls to 6-3 overall and 3-2 in Great America Rifle Conference (GARC) matches, while the Wildcats improve to 10-1 on the year and 5-0 in conference action.

- NC State Olympian Lucas Kozeniesky turned in the match's top score in the aggregate with a total of 1176 thanks to a 596 in air rifle and a 581 in smallbore.
