Wolfpack looks for season sweep against Tigers

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State volleyball team will look to complete the season sweep against Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) foe Clemson, Sunday afternoon when the Tigers visit Raleigh. First serve is slated for 2 p.m. inside Reynolds Coliseum and it will be broadcast live on the ACC Network Extra.

The Wolfpack enters the contest with a 16-11 overall record and a 9-6 mark in conference play, while Clemson is 6-21 on the season including a 1-14 clip against league opponents.

Last Time Out
In its last outing, NC State suffered a tough five-set loss at home against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. The Wolfpack led 2-0 in the contest before the Yellow Jackets rallied for the 3-2 win.

With A Win Sunday NC State Would Earn…
- Its 688th victory in program history
- 17th win of the season, surpassing its win total from a season ago, and its 10th win in conference, the most since 2013
- A season sweep against Clemson, after defeating the Tigers in straight sets in South Carolina earlier this year

Scouting Clemson
The Clemson Tigers have struggled this season and have compiled a 6-21 overall record and a 1-14 mark in ACC play. Clemson was swept by No. 8 UNC Chapel-Hill in its most recent outing on Friday.

NC State has won five of the last six meetings with Clemson, including a 3-0 sweep earlier this season on Sept. 30.

Leah Perri leads the team offensively with 3.54 kills per set, the third most by an individual in the ACC. Kailey Harvell is second on the squad with 2.43 kps. At the setter position, Keely Hayes has handed out 7.34 assists per set. Defensively, Emily Curtis headlines a balanced group with 244 digs or 3.30 digs per set.

Clemson has a team attacking percentage of .165, while opponents own a .263 clip. The Tigers average 10.90 kills per set and their opponents earn 13.40 kps.
