Pack Completes Day One of Riviera/ ITA All-American Championships

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. - The NC State women's tennis team completed day one of the Riviera/ ITA All-American Championships with two losses in the qualifying doubles matches.
Martina Frantova and Tayla Stenta (No. 24) dropped to Sandy Niehaus and Gabriella De Santis from Ohio State, 3-8.
Bianca Moldovan and Claudia Wiktorin (No. 50) battled the fifth seeded team of Wendy Zhang and Lindsey Hodge (No. 28) from Rice, but fell 2-8.Â
Both doubles teams will pick up action tomorrow, Oct. 5, in the consolation matches. Additionally, No. 29 Martina Frantova will play in the singles main draw starting on Oct. 6th.Â
