RALEIGH, N.C. - Boston College scored the game winning touchdown with 4:43 remaining in the fourth quarter, and NC State was unable to answer, as the Eagles left Carter-Finley Stadium with a 21-14 ACC win Saturday afternoon.

The Wolfpack (4-4, 1-3 ACC) took a 14-13 lead midway through the third quarter capitalizing on a BC INT, when QB Ryan Finley found WR Kelvin Harmon on the very next play from 23 yards out.

The lead would last until the final five minutes, as BC used a 9-play, 63 yard drive to score the go-ahead TD, and two-point conversion, to take a 21-14 lead with 4:43 left.

After the Pack returned the ensuing kickoff to the BC 42, NC State worked the ball down to the BC 10 for a first and goal. After two run plays were stopped, BC was called for pass interference in the end zone and NC State had a first and goal from the 2. After two more runs were stopped, Finley was intercepted in the end zone to end the scoring threat.

After falling behind 3-0 early in the second quarter, the Pack answered with a quick 3-play, 87-yard TD drive to take its first score at 7-3. QB Ryan Finley hit Bra'Lon Cherry in a quick slant, and Cherry raced 79 yards for his second TD of the season.

After back-to-back interceptions by both teams, NC State scored its second TD of the game midway through the third quarter. After a Josh Jones INT set up the Pack deep in BC territory, Ryan Finley hit Kelvin Harmon on the next play for a 23-yard TD score. The TD was Harmon's team-leading fourth receiving TD of the season (Jaylen Samuels also has four).

• Justin Jones' blocked field goal in the second quarter was the first for NC State since Alan Michael-Cash had one against North Carolina in 2009.

• QB Ryan Finley threw for a career-best 307 yards, the second time this season he has gone over 300 yards passing in a game.

• WR Bra'Lon Cherry posted 105 receiving yards - his first career 100+ game, and his previous best was 51 in a game. A Pack player had 100+ receiving yards for the fourth time this season.

• Josh Jones' 15 tackles were a season-high for a Pack player, and the most since Robert Caldwell had 17 against BC in 2013.
