LOUISVILLE, KY. - No. 7 Louisville used a strong first half performance and defeated the visiting Wolfpack 54-13 Saturday afternoon.
The Cardinals (6-1, 4-1 ACC) raced out to a 44-0 halftime lead, limiting the Wolfpack's (4-3, 1-2 ACC) offensive production in the first 30 minutes. NC State put up back-to-back TDs in the third quarter to close within 44-13, but Louisville scored the games final 10 points.
Pack QB Ryan Finley completed 16-of-31 passes for 236 yards and a pair of touchdowns. In the second half, Finley threw for 192 of his yards.
