Time Set For Oct. 3 Tailgate Tip-Off

The NC State men's basketball team will take its game outdoors Saturday, Oct. 3 at 10:45 a.m. The team's Tailgate Tip-Off presented by Butterball will take place prior to NC State's Ag Day football game vs. Louisville.
DJ MC and event host Brian Dawson of K97.5 will get things started as the Pack will hold an outdoor scrimmage and other fan appreciation activities in Fan Zone on the PNC Arena South Plaza between PNC Arena and Carter-Finley Stadium's Dail Plaza North. Wolfpack Fan Zone opens at 9:30 a.m. and will feature corporate partner booths and giveaways all tied to the annual Ag Day event.
The first 750 fans at the Tailgate Tip-Off will receive a t-shirt courtesy of Butterball. The t-shirts will be distributed at the Butterball tent near the outdoor basketball court.
The Tailgate Tip-Off will be the first of two fan events hosted by Mark Gottfried's team this fall. Fans will have a chance to Meet the Pack and get autographs Sunday, Nov. 8 after the team's exhibition game vs. California State University, Los Angeles. That exhibition game is set for a 2 p.m. start.
