RALEIGH, N.C. - Junior Pete Renda was an NCAA Qualifier at 174 pounds in each of his first two seasons at NC State. This summer, he and the coaches decided to move him up to 184 pounds.
The results seem to have worked a month into the season. Renda is ranked in every major poll, as high as #13 this week. He is 7-0 thus far in 2015-16, all dual wins, and six of those have been bonus point victories.
