RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State men's tennis team is set to compete at the Wake Forest Invite Friday through Sunday. The team will take a few individuals to the invite, as it looks to build towards the upcoming spring season.

The Tournament:
Wake's fall tournament features 18 teams from across the Eastern United States. Teams will compete in multiple singles and doubles draws throughout the weekend. The tournament stats with doubles play that begins at 9 a.m. Friday.

Team Notes:
So far this fall, Shoti Meparidze leads the team with ten overall wins throughout the Packs six fall tournaments.

Chris Mikrovas has gotten better each tournament this season. He has four total wins and has won two of his three matches last weekend.

Redshirt freshman, Michael Odgen, will continue to play as he develops for the upcoming spring season.
Â
In doubles, Meparidze and Mikrovas also look to build on their fall season. Last time out, the pair went undefeated as they won three matches at the Seahawk Invite.

Last Time Out:
Last weekend, Ogden, Meparidze and Mikrovas competed in the Seahawk Invite. All three players saw action in the three-day tournament. The team recorded a perfect record in doubles play, and won three single matches.

Singles:
Mikrovas led the Pack with a big win over the Seahawks Taylor Cramer on the first day of the invite. During the second day, Meparidze had win over USC-Upstate's Jamie Yates. On the final day, Mikrovas won his second match, defeating Richmond's Stathi Kyriakides

Doubles:
Meparidze and Mikrovas continued their doubles partnership, playing together in their second straight tournament. The duo won all three of their matches.
