NCAA BOUND! NC State Earns Bid to Lexington (KY) Regional

RALEIGH, N.C. – Having won 14 of its last 17 games, the NC State baseball team has been selected to compete in the 2017 NCAA Tournament. The Wolfpack will be the No. 3 seed in the Lexington (KY) Regional and play second-seeded Indiana in its first-round matchup Friday night at 7 p.m. at Cliff Hagan Stadium.

Kentucky is the host, top seed in the regional and will face Ohio in its opening-round game Friday afternoon at noon. The Wolfpack's contest on Friday will be streamed live on Watch ESPN.

NC State and Indiana have only met once in the history of the programs with the Hoosiers winning the matchup in 1951, 9-7.

NC State is making its 15^th NCAA appearance in the last 20 seasons, including its third consecutive. Overall, the program garners its 29^th selection in the NCAA Tournament.
