Miller's Minute
Overall thoughts…
"We struggled a little bit early, but we came back pretty strong," said head coach Keith Miller. "I was really happy to see Lauren [Phillips] fire the top score in each event and win the air rifle finals. That was really important in her last home match at NC State.
"Derya [Pekari] has been dealing with injury, but I'm so proud of how she pressed through to finish today. She probably should have just stopped shooting, but she wasn't going to stop in her last match, so I'm really really proud of both of them.
"It's an emotional day. We had a decent score, but this day is a symbol of all the time that they've put in and the direction we're heading. It's a Wolfpack Family."
