COACH SANTORO'S TAKE
Opening statement
"We played hard. This is a hard place to play and Virginia Tech is a tough team to play with the way their playing style is. We weren't great tonight, but we were solid and we hung in there to grind out a win. We earned three really big points for the postseason."
On most overall and ACC wins since 1995
"I'm proud of these girls. They're the ones that have done this. They made the commitment to come here when we were struggling as a program, and now they've taken it to another level two years in a row. The girls deserve all the credit and that's a big accomplishment for something that hasn't been done in a long time."
