RALEIGH, N.C. – Both Nick Horton and Alexis Galarneau were selected to the ITA/Oracle singles poll, as the NC State men's tennis team nears the start of the 2017 spring season.
Horton checked in at a team-high No. 37 to move up two spots from his fall ranking, while Alexis Galarneau will begin his freshman spring campaign ranked No. 103.
The two are a combined 13-5 on the fall season. Both had impressive tournament runs during the first half of the season, Horton won his flight of the Wolfpack Invitational and Galarneau advanced to the round of 16 at the ITA Carolina Regional.
Horton is currently ranked T-10th in school history with 73 career wins. The senior has been ranked three consecutive seasons with the Wolfpack and is a team captain.
