Wolfpack breaks program record for an ACC match with .407 team attacking percentage
CLEMSON, S.C. – The NC State volleyball team broke the program record for an Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) match with a .407 attacking percentage to power the Wolfpack to a 3-0 (25-16, 25-10, 25-13) sweep at Clemson Friday night inside Jervey Gym.
The Pack's .407 attacking percentage is the fourth-best in the rally-scoring era of the program, which began in 2001. NC State moves to 9-6 on the year and 2-1 in ACC play, while the Tigers fall to 5-10 and 0-3 in league action.

- In addition to the Wolfpack's performance on offense, it was equally as impressive defensively limiting Clemson to an attacking percentage of .031 with 10 blocks.
- Freshman Jessica Kemp made her second start of the season in the match and responded with a career-best seven blocks, tied for the most by an individual on the Pack this year.
Quoting Hampton-Keith
Opening statement…
"I'm really proud of our team for tonight's performance," said head coach Linda Hampton-Keith. "They continue to impress me as they grow and push to get better each day."
On breaking the program attacking percentage mark for ACC match…
"Breaking a hitting percentage record is certainly exciting, but we continue to focus on our process and creating opportunities for success. Tonight's performance was a reflection of our team's ability to continue to stay focused and hold each other to a high standard and the hitting percentage is a reflection of that commitment. I'm proud of this team and how they continually respond to challenges in a positive way!"
On freshman Jessica Kemp's performance…
"Jessica Kemp has been working hard and we always ask each athlete to make the most of the opportunities they're given. Jessica did just that tonight, she's working to get better at the things the team needs her to get better at and tonight she was met with positive results."
