COLLEGE GROVE, Tenn. – The NC State men's golf team completed the first of three rounds at the 2016 Franklin American Mortgage Intercollegiate Sunday afternoon. Through 18 holes of play at The Grove, NC State is tied for 12th place with a team score of 301 (+13).
Sophomore Stephen Franken led the way for the Wolfpack on Sunday, shooting a 73 (+1) to sit tied for 16th in the tournament field. Freshman Benjamin Shipp recorded NC State's second lowest score of the day, carding a 75 (+3) to sit tied for 43rd after 18 holes.
