Former NC State Players Look to Make Summer #STATEments

RALEIGH – Four former NC State men's basketball players are suiting up for NBA Summer League teams over the course of the next few weeks. Spanning from July 2-18 in Orlando, Utah, and Las Vegas, the 2016 NBA Summer League features former Wolfpack players Anthony 'Cat' Barber, Lorenzo Brown, Trevor Lacey, and C.J. Williams.

Cat Barber – New Orleans Pelicans
Lorenzo Brown – Detroit Pistons
Trevor Lacey – Los Angeles Lakers
CJ Williams – San Antonio Spurs
Brown is off to a very solid start with the Pistons' Summer League team, averaging 15.5 points and 4.0 steals in two wins. Williams had a strong outing with the Spurs on July 4, scoring 11 points in a win over Utah.
Barber and the Pelicans open Summer League play on July 8 against Lacey and the Los Angeles Lakers.
