MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The NC State men's golf team quickly returns to action this weekend, competing in its third tournament of the spring season. On Saturday and Sunday, the Wolfpack will compete at the 2016 General Jim Hackler Championship at The Dunes Golf & Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

THE COURSE AND FORMAT
The Dunes Golf & Beach Club will play a par of 72 over 7,233 yards. Competing golfers will play 36 holes Saturday via a shotgun start and 18 Sunday based on seeded tee times from holes No. 1 and 10.

THE RECORD SO FAR
NC State tied for sixth place in the field of 18 teams at the Palmetto Invite (March 7-8). Including the fall season, the Wolfpack has accumulated a combined record of 74-25-2.

2015 SUCCESS
At this very same competition last season, the Wolfpack finished ahead of four GOLFWEEK top-50 squads en route to securing a second-place finish. David Cooke (T6th) and Jacob McBride (T9th) led the Pack with strong individual scores, carding totals of 216 (E) and 217 (+1), respectively.

Stephen Franken – Led the Pack (T12th) at the recent Palmetto Invite.
Jacob McBride – Finished second on the Pack (T19th) at the recent Palmetto Invite.
Stanhope Johnson – Seven career top-20 finishes.
Carter Page – NC State's active leader in career rounds played (107).
Davis Richards – Has earned a 72.4 stroke average in 17 rounds this season.
