Davis Takes Third at Hoosier Open

BLOOMINGTON, IND. – Joshua Davis concluded the December portion of the NC State track and field season Friday night, taking third in the weight throw at the Hoosier Open.
Davis finished with a throw of 64'8.75" amongst a strong group of competitors. After fouling his first two attempts, Davis recorded a throw in the third round to reach the finals. He recorded the 64'8.75" mark on his fourth throw before fouling the final two attempts.
Davis still holds the nation's second-best throw of 67'8.00" and will continue his season in January.
