December 22, 2016
RALEIGH - Fans who attend the NC State women's basketball team's December 29 game against Notre Dame (7 p.m.) and still find themselves in the giving spirit can make a difference by donating new and gently used children's books to Durham-based nonprofit Book Harvest. Collection areas will be available at Reynolds Coliseum.Â
In addition to helping new and gently used children's books find a home with a child who needs them, fans who donate books at the game will receive a discounted admission price of $3.Â
About Book Harvest
Book Harvest is a Durham-based nonprofit that works to ensure that all children grow up in book-rich homes. Since it kicked off in 2011, Book Harvest has provided more than 525,000 donated books to children from low-income families throughout the Triangle.Â
