RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State volleyball team picked up its eighth sweep of the season and fifth in Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) play with a strong performance Sunday afternoon to defeat Clemson, 3-0 (27-25, 25-21, 25-22), inside Reynolds Coliseum.
The Wolfpack improves to 17-11 overall and 10-6 in ACC action, while the Tigers fall to 6-22 and 1-15 in conference play.
Worth Noting
- NC State completed the season sweep against Clemson with the win, as the Pack also earned a 3-0 victory against the Tigers in South Carolina earlier this year.
- It was also the Wolfpack's 17th win, surpassing the team's total in each of the previous two seasons. Additionally, it was NCSU's 10th ACC win, the most for the program since 2013.
- The Wolfpack recorded a team attacking percentage of .328 for the match, the sixth time the squad has logged an attacking percentage better than .300.
- Junior outside hitter Julia Brown tallied her 14th double-double (10 kills & 12 digs) of the season, while sophomore setter Becky Porter earned her first (48 assists & 11 digs) of the year.

Overall thoughts…
"A win is a win and we'll take it and move on," said first-year head coach Linda Hampton-Keith. "Hopefully, we learned some lessons along the way that we have to start strong in each match. It was nice to see the poise and the maturity of our team to fight back after we got down in the third set.
"Although it wasn't our prettiest match, there were some good things that came out of it."
On Becky Porter's performance…
"Becky played great. We're really fortunate to have such quality depth at the setter position and we were comfortable handing the offense over to her in Maggie's absence."
