RALEIGH, N.C.- Eleven Pack Pros played during Week 8 of the NFL, including Joe Thuney, who now stands as the only Patriots' player to log 100% of the snaps this season. Check out how the rest of the Pack Pros preformed during the week:
David Amerson recorded four solo tackles and one pass defended for the Oakland Raiders on Sunday night's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Raiders won over the Buccaneers in a close game, 30-24.
Three Pack Pros met up during the Vikings vs. Bears game on Monday night. Audie Cole suited up for the Minnesota Vikings, making some nice special teams plays for the Vikings, but suffered a finger injury during the game and is currently questionable. Fellow Pack Pro Ted Larsen lined up against Cole for the Chicago Bears starting offense. Larsen has shown versatility on the field this season by covering multiple positions in recent games due to injured teammates. This week, Larsen stepped up and took over at right guard for the Bears' Kyle Long. Linebacker Willie Young had one pass defended for Chicago. The Bears topped the Vikings, 20-10.
Juston Burris played in his eighth game of his Rookie career for the New York Jets as they took on the Cleveland Browns. The Jets topped the Browns, 31-28.
Steven Hauschka put eight points on the board for the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints. Hauschka kicked two field goals as well as two extra points. Quarterback and teammate Russell Wilson completed 22 of 34 passes for a total of 253 yards. The Seahawks came up short against the Saints, 20-25.
T.Y. McGill recorded one pass defended for the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. The Colts fell to the Kansas City Chiefs, 14-30.
The San Diego Chargers' Philip Rivers completed 20 of 47 passes for 267 yards on Sunday night against the reigning Super Bowl Champs, the Denver Broncos. Rivers also threw two touchdowns, but had three throws intercepted. The Chargers fell to the Broncos, 19-27.
Joe Thuney now stands as the only player with a 100% snap count for the New England Patriots after Sunday night's game against the Buffalo Bills. Thuney has had an extremely impressive rookie career, starting each game so far this season. The Pack Pro allowed his first sack of the season this year, but the Patriots claimed the win nonetheless, topping the Bills, 41-25.Â
Stephen Tulloch took to the field with the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. The Eagles fell to the Cowboys in overtime, 23-29.
Dontae Johnson (San Francisco 49ers) sat out Week 8 with a bye, but will take on the New Orleans Saints Sunday, Nov. 6th. Mario Williams (Miami Dolphins) also received a bye, and is set to play the New York Jets on Sunday.
