Wolfpack Women’s Basketball Releases 2015-16 Schedule

FULL 2015-16 SCHEDULE | Ticket Information
RALEIGH – Featuring 16 home games and 17 opponents who qualified for the NCAA Tournament or WNIT in 2015, the NC State women's basketball team released its 2015-16 schedule on Wednesday morning. With Reynolds Coliseum in the midst of its $35 million renovation, the Wolfpack will play two home games at PNC Arena and the remaining 14 at Broughton High School's Holliday Gymnasium.
Holliday Gymnasium seats 3,000 fans and is one of the largest gyms in the state of North Carolina. Legendary NBA player "Pistol" Pete Maravich earned his nickname within the gym, as he played for the Broughton High School Capitals in the 1960s. The court will be a familiar one for Wolfpack freshman Kaila Ealey, who averaged 26.4 points per game for Broughton High School during her senior season.
Including a Nov. 8 exhibition against Wingate University, NC State will play five of its first six games at home. The Pack's regular-season home opener will be played at PNC Arena on Nov. 13 as a part of a doubleheader with the NC State men's basketball team. Tip-off times for that evening will be released in the near future.
The Wolfpack will host Syracuse for the 11th annual Hoops 4 Hope game on Sunday, Feb. 14 at 2 p.m. at Holliday Gymnasium. Last season's 10th Anniversary of Hoops 4 Hope was highlighted by NC State defeating No. 10 Duke and resulted in the Wolfpack community earning the NCAA Division I Play 4Kay award for raising the most funds of all D1 programs.
NC State will then head to Chapel Hill to face the rival Tar Heels on Sunday, Feb. 21 at 1 p.m. as part of ESPN's annual Play 4Kay Week, in honor of legendary Wolfpack coach Kay Yow.
Seven of NC State's eight road ACC contests will be broadcast live either on ESPN3, ESPN2, or the league's Regional Sports Network (RSN).
